Frequently Asked Questions:
Need some guidance as you plan your trip? We've provided some information below that will hopefully be helpful. Otherwise, please feel free to contact our wedding planner, Tasha Bracken at info@tashabrackenevents.com
We are flying to the wedding, what is the best way to get to Cape Cod?
TF Green/Providence Airport is about an hour and 45 minute drive from Chatham and is the closest airport. The other option is Boston Logan Airport which is about a 2 hour drive.
If flying to Logan or TF Green, renting a car will be easiest way to get down to the Cape. There is also a shuttle called Plymouth and Brockton from Logan International Airport to Harwich, the town over from Chatham. The shuttle bus would still require an Uber or rental car to get to your final lodging destination. Details can be found here: https://www.p-b.com/schedules/hyn-bsn-lgn-ptn-webschedule/
Which towns should we look at forAirbnbs?
In addition to Chatham, there are several neighboring towns that have many options for house rentals. We suggest looking at Harwich, Orleans, Brewster, and Dennis.
We have also listed several lodging recommendations under accommodations if you are not planning to book an AirBnB/VRBO.
Is there parking at Chatham Bars Inn & Wequassett?
Yes, there is valet parking at the resorts.
Are kids welcome?
While we love your children, this is an adults-only (18+) affair. We hope you understand!
If you're looking for childcare, we highly recommend Summer Sitters. You can find more information at www.summersitters.com
Are Ubers, Lyfts,Or Taxis Available?
In the off-season, Uber and Lyft are not easily accessible on Cape Cod. If you are staying at Chatham Bars Inn you will have access to their car service that you can schedule in advance. Driving or taxis are otherwise the best option. Taxis can be scheduled in advance through the companies below.
